Title: Senior Application Developer

Opportunity Number: SAD06-08-CAN (Canada)

Location: Canada

 

Description:

This position provides professional consulting services to our clients that focus on the technical implementation of IWMS/CAFM & NOMAD Tools. The Sr. Application Developer works closely with our clients, both business and technical, as well as NOMAD’s Project Managers and Business Analysts in determining how best to configure software to meet clients’ needs and ensure the successful user adoption of the resulting solution. In addition to leading projects, Sr. Application Developers are asked to assist the management team in enhancing our standards development, best practices, and continuous improvement processes.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading large scale enterprise level software implementations

  • Proven experience with mobile computing devices and mobile applications

  • Possess excellent technical, verbal, and written communications skills

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring developers

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive project initiatives

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Strong understating of all phases of software development life cycle

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a professional services organization or an equivalent consultant role

  • 8 or more years experience in programming languages and concepts including; Java, C#, C++, VB, .NET, PHP, JSP, and/or SQL

  • Knowledge with SOAP, XML, and internet technologies

  • Knowledge of middleware, such as Tomcat, Jboss, Websphere, and Weblogic

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL Server

  • Strong object-oriented design and relational database skills desired

  • Working knowledge of Integrated Workplace Management Systems preferred

 

 

 

Title: IWMS Business Analyst

Description:

We are currently recruiting for a consultant/implementation specialist to join our technical team. This role requires customer focus, a deep understanding of IWMS/CAFM and mobile products, and an outstanding level of technical proficiency. If you enjoy working with clients to help them succeed in a technological environment, enjoy a variety of job responsibilities and are customer driven, then we would like to talk with you.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple related project simultaneously

  • Manage expectations of client sponsors

  • Able to assist in the functional/technical development of proposals

  • Monitors and adjusts work effort to meet schedule and budget

  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and excellent administrative skills

  • Lead client engagement relationship, communication, and service delivery

  • Work closely with the development team to assist customer requirements

  • Create GAP analysis for implementations

  • Create configuration specifications for the solution to be implemented

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relational databases

  • Experience writing technical specifications for data conversion, reporting and interfaces

  • 5 years’ implementation experience

  • Ideally, the candidate would have 5 years’ experience installing, configuring and customizing CAFM/IWMS software
